So it was obviously a stupid question. Or perhaps too difficult to answer. Next time maybe I should title it I know where to get 1gb discs for £2.50 and everyone would jump in. Thanks

I am very new to MD's.. I have just bought the Sony MZ-NH900. I am a singer and work on a ship.. and want to record my own performances and backing tracks. It's a simple and possibly silly question If my friend has a backing track on minidisc can I take their minidisc and record it onto my computer via my recorder? Also any advice on a very cheap microphone for recording live performance? Many many thanks in advance...
