no, i have brand new 1 gig discs. i have been able to record about 26 min worth in pcm mode or about 2 hours worth in hi sp. but then it starts this clicking thing and practically wont stop unless i remove the battery

i dont think its the disc because i have a had the same problem with the last two. its strange, if i erase the whole disc i can get something to record but it is limited. it seemed at first that i was limited to making like six different tracks or something, but then i tried recording one continuous track but it only lasted about 26 minutes and wont record anymore, even though there is over 600 megabytes of space left. im not sure what to do, i am having troube finding compressed air or screwdrivers small enough to open the front, plus im not sure if that will help. Any more ideas?

Does anyone know anything about record errors? I am in Peru and trying to use my nh1 to make live mic recordings of the religious music that is played in the plaza on sundays. I am getting a clicking noise and the data save message takes forever and then the recording is lost. Could the machine be dirty from trying to play a disc that had a missing slide cover. If anyone can help me please email me as i have only two days to fix the problem before my miss my last chance to record the coolest music in the world
