Cheers, i don't have an optical out on my computer, but i can find ways of giving your tips a go.

Not sure this is the right place for my post but i'm guessing its an old MD problem... I recently bought a cd with that 'Copy Controlled' technology on it and attempted to copy it to my sony mz-r91 though the regular route of the optical cable. Problem is when stopped, the TOC goes crazy and gives me a massively random nuber of tracks (like 247 or 164) all of which are representing parts of the 1st track. Has anyone else had this problem and figured out a way to deal with it other than making an analog recording? Thanks

Hi, i'm new and in need of help! I have an old (and lovingly used) sony mz-r91. Not only is the rchargeable battery nearly dead, but i managed to lose the screw in extrenal AA battery case. Does any one know the model number of the AA battery case or where i can buy one from in the UK? Failing that, does anyone know a good place to get a rechargable battery from (NH-14WM?), again a british site? Also, way back when i bought it, i remember there was a Lithium-ion battery for the mz-r90/91 shaped like the external battery pack. Anyone know the model number? Cheers
