  1. Thanks for the replies. That's the program in question. I have most all of my audio (books and music) in MP3 format already and I want to be able to batch convert them using the 'Sony MP3 Conversion Tool' that I downloaded from www.connect.com When I run it, it tells me that it requires Sonic Stage 2.1 or greater. I have Sonic Stage 3.0 installed. My other options: go through my storage and try to find all of the CD's againlet Sonic Stage do the conversion/uploading which can take a veeeeery looooong timeI'm trying to avoid either of those options if possible. Thanks again.
  2. Surely I can't be the only person to have had this problem?
  3. Would it be too much to ask for the ability to run this in Linux? I hate the fact that I have to use a buggy piece of junk like Window$ just so I can listen to the music I either purchased or created myself. DRM exists in Linux too, Sony, you needn't be scared.
  4. Just wanted to hop in and mention that I uninstalled the MD drive via Windows Device Mangler and reinstalled it. SS 3 works now and I am currently veeeeery slooooowly transferring two audiobooks onto my MD player. Which is why I'd really like to be able to use the MP3 Conversion tool. This takes forever.
  5. I installed SS3 on my machine and it worked great (until this happened). I installed the "Sony MP3 Conversion Tool" and got real excited because I was ready to start putting all of those MP3's that I have ripped over the years on my new MD player. So I run the MP3 Conversion Tool and it tells me Well 3.0 is better than 2.1, right? I have 3.0 installed. So, looking for something quicker and easier I installed Simple Burner 2. It works great. Of course now SS3 doesn't recognise my MD player as being connected anymore. Is this a common problem for anyone else? I did a search and couldn't find anyone else questioning this so I figured I would ask. If it matters, I'm running XP Pro SP2 and I have a MZ-NH600D
