  1. Sony Hi-MD Walkman MZ-RH10. Includes 1x Hi-MD 1GB disc, original battery, original wallcharger, original fabric bag, original in-line remote, original headphones, and original external AA battery add-on. This is an amazing MiniDisc recorder, and I've made many live-performance and practice recordings with it; hopefully it can find a good home. Asking $175 I'm also selling a SP-SPSM-17 SOUND PROFESSIONALS SINGLE POINT STEREO MICROPHONE. Includes One meter 3-prong mic to headphone cable, and a SP-DTS-9 folding tripod stand. I'm also including a bag as well. This is a fantastic microphone for acoustic instruments, high hats, and vocals. This omnidirectional microphone has a response of 20-20,000 Hz, good SNR of 62dB, and a dynamic range of 81dB/96dB. Asking $50 (sells for $99 new) Or you can buy both together for $200. This is priced as shipped with USPS Priority within the 48 lower states. I only accept Paypal. my ebay account is cieje-half as reference.
  2. Currently I have: Sharp 722 MD Recorder SP-SPSM-17 Link Here besides that I just analog out to my sound card (p.o.s. mb sound). I'm going to be doing a lot of live rock recording, and am trying to figure out my next sound improvement step. I've had variable results thus far and it seems like I need some sort of bass-rolloff or preamp of some sort, but am weary towards a $70+ purchase for such a device unless I'm confident it's exactly what I need and will work. I have seen the information about the radioshack attenuator, so I'm going to pick one up, and hope it's a cheap alternative. Any other recommendations are welcome. I'd much rather transfer the recorded material digitally... I want to get into HiMD, however... I REALLY don't like that Sony doesn't allow you to adjust recording volume on the fly. Is there any headups to when Sharp will release a HiMD recorder? I'd guess that it'd have similar or better features as my own 722, which I absolutely love. Also... if anybody has an otter box solution (I'd probably get a 3000 or something with plick and pluck) tell me how you like it etc.
