I know that there are many users out there that have this horrible problem. Updating SonicStage Database. Please Restart....blah blah" I spoke to Sony Support all the way up to engineering level and the only solution to the problem was, "reinstall windows"...that is F$#&ed up!! As it seems one of the possible ways to get this bug is to do a system restore. Now, i have tried every way to get around this problem using many of the guides on this and other forums. With no avail i completely uninstalled SS (from the registry too) and decided to install directly from Sony. the problem is that the OpenMG Secure Module is corrupted from sony. I have downloaded it several times and i still get this error while its installing. I have a Sony MZNH600D Win XP Home Edition SP1 MDAC (latest) Jet Database (latest) and any other goddies this forum suggested "Internal Error 2718 {2F151B50-B434-4838-B51D-70442EBA093E}" does anybody have a solution to this? Also are there any substitutions to SS that can transfer files?
