Sorry for make this question in here , but since you are talking about the rm-mc40elk.... Is it possible (using rm-mc40elk and a mznh900) to view the songs in the disc in the remote without selecting them?. I mean like when you use the jog dial while playing a song in the mznh900 body. thanks

Hi you all I need your help , please. Yesterday I recorded two entire albums into my MZNH900 with digital pc link from pc. I recorded it in a 1GB disc. The thing is that later I connect my MD to the computer and move one folder with the digital album recording using Sonic Stage 3.2 (I didn't do anything else , just move the folder). Now I want to edit my album recording because I need to split the tracks but I CAN'T !! When I try to edit my digital recording the MD gives me the message CANNOT EDIT. Why is this??? Can anybody please help me?

same problem as me. But I got a exchange unit. Sony has a good policy about this kind of things. Congrats for the repair. Enjoy

What is the best Hi-MD model ever made? (so far)
sebastianbf replied to Skradgee's topic in Minidisc
I love the jog dial on the mznh900. But in the other hand you have the slim of the mznh1 and of course the entire aluminium construction -
They just cost $2.99 each one. So I thought that if one costs normally like $30....... The other reason is that I use these batteries a lot, so you know the memory thing...

Recording MP3's directly on 2nd Generation Hi-MD
sebastianbf replied to johnobuttons's topic in Minidisc
there is a button (settings) in the middle of the two windows in transfer mode. Just select the "transfer without converion" option (or something like that). You just have to import the mp3s to My library (DO NOT CONVERT THEM) and then transfer them to your himd (remember to change the convertion option first). One more thing: Download the last version of SonicStage (ver 3.2). It's available in the download section in the forum. -
Maybe you can buy one in U.S and import it to U.K. Check this: http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prod...aitem=4&mitem=6 I bought 10 batteries from them. Amazing price and great seller.

Drop-outs in sound - need help
sebastianbf replied to pimpernel22's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
you should try to clean the laser on your unit. -
I've been looking to turn this "auto track marks" off (when recording from mic) on my mznh900. So far, not possible

there is a post (a very large one) in the forum discussing the posibility of sony making 2gb himd discs. Some guy heard that from a salesman I think. Just bluff.

Sony will firmware upgrade MZ-RH10's missing words
sebastianbf replied to Christopher's topic in News
I sent my mznh900 for an exchange to the laredo center. They work very quick , it only takes about 5 days till all the "process" is complete. -
You should download SonicStage ver 3.2 . Look in the download section. Congrats for your new MD. Enjoy!

But what about the "H" in the model number?

Charging differences between MZ-RH910 and MZ-RH10?
sebastianbf replied to dwissl's topic in Minidisc
Ohh. one more thing: take a look at this pictorial. You will see that the unit has a AC adapter socket. You can charge the unit this way, connecting it to the Usb or using the cradle. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9326 -
Charging differences between MZ-RH910 and MZ-RH10?
sebastianbf replied to dwissl's topic in Minidisc
Only the japanese version of the RH10 comes with the craddle, but all models come with a case to use normal AA batteries. The gumstick batteries can be charged in the unit. For further info check this: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=11418 -
no problems with it. Actually I use my mznh900 with a 1500 Nimh battery attached.

When I have a 192kbps I convert it to Hi-sp. I think that a 192-160 kbps MP3 sounds much better than Hi-Lp. Do a test by yourself.

Sony should put the ability to remain this simple kind of things in the MD. It's not so difficult as the Md actually have Disc Memory, so... why not?
-
I only had this problem when the mic was near the unit. Try another mic and put it far from unit.
-
I think that's not possible. Sorry
-
I'm having the same problem as maxi. I'm using SS 3.2 and I can't find that registry value. please help

My old mznh900 had problems. So i exchange it. They sent me a refurbished one, but I cannot tell the diference between a refurbished unit and a brand new one. The accesories were all new in plasic bags. The mznh900 was perfect, problem fixed and not a single little scratch.

Hi guys I want to ask all of you: 1) What is your transfer speed for a 60 minutes album (aprox) at 256 kbps mp3 to a himd disc in atrac hi-sp (including convertion) 2) The transfer speed for a 60 minutes album already converted to hi-sp in SonicStage ,so just the transfer to the himd in atrac hi-sp. Please let me know your system specs, because I think my transfers are going pretty slow. Thanks for your time
