Hey guys, I have noticed in some of my live recordings that I can hear a whirring sound (the md player writing to the disc) is there any way I can stop this from coming up in my recordings?

Hey guys. I need to do some guitar recording and I was wondering what adaptor I need to record directly from my guitar into the net md (if you have a picture that would help as well) I already have a male to male cable for recording between the md and the pc etc. any other cables I need? thanks
