Unfortunatly, it's not a problem with the unit. I've got two HiMD recorders (a RH1 and a NH1) and the disc is played with the same issue (AccessErr) at the same point in the recording. Th recrding has been made with the RH1 and since I've recorded that live I've done other recordings without any problem with this unit. It's not a HiMD 1Gb disc though, it's a 80min MD.

Great ! Many hundred dollars for a Hi-MD recorder. And then some more when the unit is not fucntioning as intended !!! Sony does know how to build a money-making business model.

Hello fellows. I just ended up with a live recording which stops playing two minutes or so before the end with an "AccessErr" displayed on the MD unit screen. The rest of the recordin seems to be here as the unit is displaying the right full recording length (1h27m or so). This problem is occuring when using the unit alone and when playing it from SonicStage. Is there any way I can fix this issue ? Thanks.
