So I got a new PC - installed Sonic Stage and tried to transfer music from some of my MD's to my computer library - no luck - got the error message - "Unable to transfer the following tracks to My Library because they are recorded by Net MD or another computer." It's especially frustrating each time I upgrade players - I can't transfer music to the new players without playing the music realtime (in analog) then re-recording. I have a variety of MD, HiMD and old decks - all the same. I'm getting tired of it - has anyone cracked this - especially a usb transfer solution?

Has anyone figured out a way to digitally transfer music recorded (by my) older MD players to my newer MD players (expecially my HD's). Using Sonic Stage 3.x I can't transfer the music from disks to my "computer library" using my newer MD units - usually it goes through the motions - then says there was a tranfer problem. I have MZ-N505, MZ-RH10, MDS-JB920 and a MDS-NT1 to try transfers! I know I can do an analoge transfer - but I'd rather not create another generation copy.

I would like to find a Sony MDM-111 - anyone know of one for sale? In computer MD disk drive.
