Hi all New here, but not new to MD. I used to run a technics md hi fi, and kenwood md head unit in my car, all cd to md recording through toslink. My ex took the md hifi and the kenwood died in the car, and i never rebought anymore md stuff. Now after a 3 or 4 year absence from md's, ive decided to go back. I now have a MDS-JE530 deck connected to my computer via coax digital, and a MDX-C6500R in the car.(70 uk pounds for the both off ebay, what a bargain!) The JE530 basically records mp3 straight from my computer, and sound great on the actual deck itself, only problem is that when i put the same recorded md in the car, its at a very low volume level. Ive tried boosting the coax in level by 15db but the results arent that great. Has anyone else had this problem with mp3 to md, or is just me? Any suggestions as to other settings on the computer or deck would be greatly appreciated, the audio card is a creative Audigy 2(cant remember what model, but its the one with gold outputs rather than plastic colour coding) Thanx in advance James
