  1. A local radio station...WNYC AM in NY (www.wnyc.org) offers what they call podcasting of various shows. Mostly these are 1 hour or 1/2 hour repeats of their talk shows which you can download into your iPod or MP3 player. Reading the instructions for downloading these shows, they are mostly based on the iPod technology. Free software programs are available but these seem to be for the iPod only. Does anyone know how or if these programs can be downloaded into MD? Thanks, Duner
  2. Hi, During playback of tracks of my music practice, I decided to delete the first track. Thereafter, I noted a flashing "R" in the display just to the right of the battery charge symbol. When I turned the machine off, it paused and gave me the "writing data" message. When I turned the machine back on, the flashing "R" was gone. Funny thing is that I can't find mention of this in the manual. The R is not pictured anywhere in the manual. Obviously, it appeared because of the edit. Anyone know what it means?
  3. Well, I just got back from the electronics store. I traded in my 4 day old MZ-RH910 for the MZ-RH10 and I'm so glad I did. It was $50 more, but I can see the display in daylight or dim light and it's so much easier to use when you can see what the hell you're doing. That display on the 10 is fantastic and the LCD on the 910 is very lame in my opinion. Duner9
  4. And how would you know it's recording? If it's dark, you can't see the LCD and if it's noisy, you won't hear the motor whir. Sure, you could bring a small LED light for $10 and check.
  5. Hi, I'm new to MD. I just picked up the MZ-RH910 on Sunday. It was difficult to read the LCD in my living room using overhead tungsten lighting. Q. Can you see the LCD in a dark club or in bright sunlight? There is no remote, and I wonder how easy it is to get info off the LCD Q. The LE display on the MZ-RH10 looks pretty cool. Is this easy to see in sunlight or in a dark club? Thanks, Duner
