Yeah I can see the long thin paper like material it slightly curvered into a arch (not sure if it's suppose to be like that. I can see it's got a little dirt on it so I'll clean that up. Is it ok for that thin paper like material to be slightly bended into a arch form.

No I don't believe I have droped it. But whats that the spike that detects weather the disc is write protected? and where is it? Any more suggestions?

I have a HD Mini disc player MZ - NH900. The problem i have is my Hi-MD disc keeps displaying the words "Format Error Disc" I have tryed to Initialize it but it keeps saying Initialize of the media failed. (The disc is not on protected) The other problem I have found is that when I go to my computer I can't seem to get into the removeable drive for the mini disc player Also The other problem is with my other Hi-MD disc which has a lot of music on it. I simply can't access it on my sonic stage software (version 3.0.02.) Please Help? P.s It was all working fine a day or to ago.

Will there be any problems if I use a Sony NH-14WM instead of the recommended NH - 10WM (i.e. will the player warm up or what)? 2- Is it compatible with the Sony MZ-NH 900 Hi-MD mini disc player? 3- How much more capacity can I get out of the Sony NH-14WM

Hi guys, my very first post here. Cut things short I'm from the UK and just recently bought the MZNH900 mini disc player from amazon.co.uk (£69) Happy with the player and software managed to get all my tracks. The problem I am having is with the life of the battery (or playback time or what ever it is called) I am using the Sony rechargeable NH -10WM 1.2V 900mAh(MIN) battery that comes with the player. I want to know is how can I can i get the suppose 37 hours out of the rechargeable battery? Are there any other rechargeable battery's out there that I can get to increase the playback time? Because at the moment I am getting only 10 hours with the rechargeable battery and 19 hours with the LR6 external battery (total 29 hours) when recorded in Hi-LP Final question is if I but another rechargeable battery with a bigger capacity does that mean I will have to but a power adaptor for it as well.
