  1. Now that looks cool. Yes, the voltage is at the correct setting. Finn
  2. Huh!? You're what? What's a Solio??? Finn
  3. Howdy, I recently bought myself the car charger dcc-e345 so I can leave a minidisc player in the car and not worry about changing batteries. My problem now is the unwanted noise that the charger creates. Has anyone else had this problem, and how have they fixed it? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Finn
  4. Howdy, If there are any HI-MD users in NE suburbs, Melbourne, Australia, there are 1Gb blanks at Northland J.B. Hi-Fi for $12 ea. Just thought I would let people know. Finn
  5. I think even if you did have the option, you wouldn't pick anything up in Australia. Finn
  6. I believe the TV and the weather options can only be used in either the USA or Europe. Not living in any of those area's, I can't test it out. As a guess, the TV option allows you to listen to the audio of some stations. If it's getting these options off your unit, I was guess that you will be stuck with them. Finn
  7. Yes, I mean the power supply. I've already got two power adapters (some generic brand), but none of the may plugs that come with them fit into my Minidisc player. Thank You for your response. I will look into it.
  8. I've got the Car adapter nailed (FM modulator), but has anyone seen a car charger that will fit the Minisdisc player. My MZ-NF810 battery has just about given up the ghost (I could get a new one like the NiMH battery NH-14WM), but since I only use it in the car (as my MZ-NHF800 superseeds it and is used instead for everyday use), I could simply use a cigarette lighter power source. Has anyone seen these, or will I have to construct my own?
  9. Hi All, I was going to ask the question, but I've just worked it out. If anyone wants to know how to change the step on the remote RM-MC39LT on either the MZ-NF810 or the MZ-NHF800 (I can't find it in either of the manuals), here's how you do it. Turn the radio on and make sure it is on the AM band. Hold the Display button down until the word 'step' starts flashing. Press down on the jog lever so that either 'step9k' or 'step10k' appears. Using the jog dial either pushing left or right you can change the step. If you originally had a 10k step, you may also get the option 'A Preset'. I didn't play around with this so I'm guessing that it can automatically search for stations and puts them into the presets. Once you have chosen the step, press again on the jog lever. All done. Unfortunately you will lose all your presets, but like myself who damaged one of these remotes and bought another one over ebay, and had been stuck with a AM radio with a 10k step (no good in Australia), it will be a relief to be able to change between the two. Hope this helps. Finn
  10. Hi, I have the MZ-NF810 AM/FM Minidisc player which has had a lot of use over the last 18 months since I bought it. My problem now is that one of the buttons on the remote has broken (the switch has broken off the circuit board), and now as a result I can not turn the volume up. All other functions still work. My question is what remote can I get to replace it with so I can still use radio etc. I've noticed the next generation of minidisc players (ie. the Hi-MD) use the same remote. Am I able to buy the same remote, or do some of the remotes that you can buy do the very same function. If anyone can help me with this problem, it would be much appreciated. Finn
