  1. Ah, it works now. It's inconvenient to have to switch every time I use Sonicstage (because I normally set Regional setting to Japanese for Japanese programs), but it works. I wonder if there's a way to use Japanese version of Sonicstage on my version of Windows XP. I've tried to install it, but it won't let me.
  2. I'm confused. Do I need to set uni-code language to Japanese AND run Sonicstage with AppLocale? When I run Sonicstage, it gives me a message that my system can already accomodate the target applcation in Japanese. What now?
  3. I use Sonicstage 3.4(US) and I read the thread that would allow Sonicstage to display Japanese characters. I did the registry edit and set non-unicode language to Japanese, but it's not working. When I import Japanese titled tracks, they come out to be ???, but when I try to type in the track names in Japanese, I get weird characters instead of ???. When I put the cursor over the edited track name I can see that in the popup the track name is entered in Japanese, but it's not displayed. Can anyone point out to me what is going on? It'd make me very happy if I can get this to work.
  4. Thanks. I've tried the Service mode trick, but it doesn't seem to change anything. I guess it doesn't support Japanese characters.
  5. I have RH910(US) and I used the trick to get the option to choose different languages. I changed the language to Japanese, but the menus are still in English and the track titles aren't in Japanese either. So my question is.. is my RH910 capable of using Japanese characters?
  6. I'm having the exact problem with my MZ-RH910. I used 2 unused 1GB discs and no success. Although my PC hasn't crashed, SonicStage 3.0 freezes for 30 seconds or so when I try to play certain tracks. All of the tracks have scratching noise. Not sure if it's my MD player or the software that's causing this.. My PC is P4 1.8GHz/256MB/Win2K Pro.
