  1. went to wisma atria sony gallery today. nothing in there. not even md blanks.
  2. converting from ogg to wav then to atrac is easy. the problem is that the artist/album information will be lost from converting ogg to wav. so i have to edit them again once they are converted to sonic stage.
  3. is there any way to make sonic stage support ogg vorbis? i want to have this rh1, but all of my music is now in ogg. i don't want to break my dvd drive swapping out all my cd's just to convert them to hi-md. i just want to fill up a couple of hi-md's from my hard drive depending on what i like to listen. my alternative is samsung yh-j70/iaudio x5, but the only problem is it won't do gapless playback on ogg files.

    What A Week

if it can play a disk, then the laser is good. the problem may be that the magnetic head is not working. when you edit something on the disk, it writes to the toc changes to the memory and to the disk. all is well until you eject the disk. this is beacuse the toc of the disk is put into the md memory while the disk is still in the md. the actual toc of the disk is completely wiped out. this is because the laser melts the toc but the magnetic head did not polarize the disk.
  5. Hi Guys, I'm new around here. I don't know if this has been asked before. I'm wondering if such a thing exists. Since a hi-md has a capacity greter than that of a cd, I think it will be good for sony to release albums on hi-md in uncompressed format, and sell it cheaper than a cd. We can have an excuse for them to sell it cheaper since hi-md cannot be easily copied bit-by-bit, therefore more people will buy the original. Also, since one album won't consume the whole disc, they can also put some data in there worth around 300Mb. Pictures, short videos, & lyrics would be great. ====bossdak====
