Hello everybody! I'm a Hi-MD fan user and i'm searching to get a ONKYO Hi-MD bookshelf (XB7 or XB8). Can someone say to me if there is any place to order one. I live in France and importing through a ONKYO resealer is impossible in Europe. Thanks in advance.

Wishlist for future(?) Hi-MD recorders : - A "RECORD" button on the 40ELK remote (like some SHARP remotes). It would be great for recording without manipulate on the unit. - A better battery life ( about 300 hours like JVC ?) - I would like they develop a videocam recorder based on the Hi-MD. Some extras on SonicStage : - A fonction to bookmark the tracks with sonicstage. (a checkbox in the tracklist is easy to add in the interface!!!) Long life to the Hi-MD devices !

I'm using a little plugin to play OMA files with WinAmp but it can't transfer the files to MD . It is called "Daijoubu's ATRAC3 DS Plugin". I found it on P2P (there is one file "in_atrac3.dll"). Try it ! It works just fine but seems to bug with some atrac3+ tracks. I don't know why (perhaps it has be made before atrac3+ codecs)

I think it is much better and faster to convert them in any format supported by SS (ie MP3, WMA or ATRAC if you can). Then import them in SS and transfer them to your MD.

Hello ! Is there a remote with the RECORD function for Hi-MD devices ? Or can I use an older remote from a NetMD (with record function of course) to use with my NH900 ?

Hello! I have tried a plugin called "Daijoubu's ATRAC3 Plugin" for winamp and it plays oma files. I tried to play "ATRAC3+ OMA" files and it works!! Hi every MDCF members and all others! New member since this year I read the forum each day. This is my first post here and I have a question about the MCMD-R1 : Is it only a data uploader or can I use it as a "Portable Sonic Stage", so can I use it to transfer OMA title directly from a card to the unit? If someone tried this, can he answer me? PS: Excuse me for my english but it's not my mother tong.
