Hello, I 'm almost ready to order a Rh-1..... Can anyone confirm that the recordings of our old Mz-r5st can be uploaded with the new RH-1 ? This is a major factor for this purchase. Thank you in advance, Ioannis

I think that this is a matter of the current file size limits (windows max. usable file size is ~2Gb) Please try to separate your large .oma file to several tracks and convert them again. In addition, I think that, older editions of SS wave converter had a 680~ Mb limit in each conversion. Regards,

Unfortunately, as A440 already stated, there's no known solution. We 're a lot of people with similar issues and locked .OMG or OMA files. Right now I have 135 tracks locked, analog recordings, and still hoping that there will be a solution..... Best wishes, Ioannis

Have yoy tried with other discs? If you get the same message, Uninstall the SS completely, delete any registry entries and reinstall. Of course, first of all, backup your valuable tracks with Sonicstage's backup tool. For a complete unintallation look at the pinned topics into this forum. I insist to delete very carefully any registry values referring to SonicStage and Sony, (if you feel unfamiliar with this ask a more experienced to help you), as this helped alot with the same or similar problems. My personal opinion is that SS 3.2 is more stable and error free than 3.3. Best wishes, Ioannis P.S. What is HiMDExtract? I have never heard of it again.

I found the folder <Sony shared> with all the contents intact, replaced the procfile, omgrights, omgkey folders and reimport the tracks. Right now I don't get the message Invalid management rights, if I look at the track's properties reports <Playback restrictions: none> and <Remaining playback count: Unlimited> But... still the tracks are not playable, I click on them but nothing happens and no message appears, good or bad one. Any advanced help please ? Waiting for your kind help, Ioannis

Hello, A sad story. a) I was absent, without asking me my brother formatted the HD of our second laptop, c) he copied our recordings (135 tracks) on a external Hd, unfortunately not with the SS backup tool, d) Now Invalid management rights........ Please can anyone help me recover them? HimdRenderer cannot convert them now. They are our recordings, recorded with a mic. Can Sony decrypt them for us? If someone can help, (and don't want to do it in public) please send me a personal email at imkkth@[in.gr] (Please remove brackets). Thank you very much. Kind Regards, Ioannis

Dear Hi MD users, Where or how can I purchase an onkyo Hi-Md deck? Model md-133 or 105? If it's impossible to find them in Europe, is there anyone who can import them from U.S. or Japan? Thank you in advance, Ioannis

Dear kurisu, Daijoubou and others, Thank you very much for your efforts. This time with a simple uninstall of the old 3.2 package and using your new installer everything is working like a charm, and of course SS recognized our Nh1 at once. Well done !!!!! Thanks again, Kind Regards Ioannis

Still nothing....... 3d test installation on a IBM thinkpad failed. Cannot find the problem. Simple Burner recognized the nh1 immediately, Sonicstage... no way. Any help please....?

I'm currently using a Sony Ms 907 with our NH1 Hi MD. Thinking to upgrade to Sony ms 957 for better quality choir recordings (vocals only, no instruments). Any opinions or recommendations for this or another good stereo microphone will be very welcome. Thank you very much...

Stuck.....no solution? Any ideas about make it work? Please..........

Thank you, I believe the same about the Vaio. Sony's installed application are producing a mess in registry. I don't have the himg unit connected while the SS 3.2 is being installed. Something I noticedis that if I completely uninstall 3.2 and install 2.0 from Sony's CD everything works perfectly. Is there anything else that I can try? Thanks again for helping,
-
I' ve been waiting for 30 minutes and over.....

Upgraded. Uninstall / install. No Joy. One thing I noticed is that Simple Burner recognize the himd as soon as I plug it in but sonicstage not. Any idea?

1) Sony VAIO VGn-a295hp notebook with WinXP + SP2, 512 Ram 2)Fujitsu-Siemens P4 3.2 WinXP +sP1, 1,5 GB Ram The MD unit is a NH1 connected directly to PC's USB port, (no hub used) SonicStage 2.0 works fine, from the original installation CD. I have upgraded the ss 2.0 to 2.3 in the past and it was also working. The installation in Vaio was an upgrade, but in Siemens is a new clean installation. Any help welcome, Thanks imak

Thank you for releasing ss 3.2 as a standalone installer. installed in 2 PC's but cannot recognise the nh1. The same happened and with 3.1 Mdcf installer. Uninstall/install as the description in FAQ but nothing..... Desperate... Imak
