I'm just wondering the advantages of 80 min minidiscs over the 74 min minidiscs, more specifically can you record in LP4 mode on a 74 min disc?

i have a few questions on what exactly to do with the software now that i have it. I bought a MD player (mz-n707) cheap off ebay (without any accessories), but am having a hard time getting into everythign without the factory instructions. -I have sonic stage 3.1 and simple burner installed. First, did i need to install simple burner again after i installed sonic stage? (i DL'd 3.1 from this sites download page) Did i need to import all of my music files to sonic stage to be able to transfer them to my minidisc? (i already did, but i kinda made a mess of my album organization. Most importantly, how do i know that i am transfering files in Atrac format? I havent yet tried to transfer anything, i thought i would wait and see what people have to say abotu what ive done so far. Thanks so much, and if i have any other things i think of, ill edit this post. -mike

just wondering if any one type of minidisc should be avoided. They're expensive to buy at future shop, and ebay has a ton of different types... okay, several. I was about to buy some TKD 80 minute ones, btu thought i would see if i could get a quick response on here. Thanks for any advice! -mike

Im waiting for my new MZ-N707 to arrive (from ebay), and i need to know what, if any drivers/software ill need to fully run the thing. The player itself was only 35 bucks, but it's missing all software and accessories. I wasnt worried, cause i have a good set of headphones, and USB cable allready, and know that i can get the software off the net. So, all i need to know is if there is anything else other than Sonic Stage I need. Also, does the Jukebox program come with Sonic stage 3.1 or do i need to get that seperate (or even need it?) Hi heveryone, I just bought a MZ-N707 off ebay, dirt cheap. Reson being, no accessories are included. I actually liked that fact, hoping that one of the radio tuner remotes may be compatible. So far, i think the MZ-R900 remote (RM-MC11EL), its unbacklit brother (RM-MC10L), and the MZ-N1 remote (RM-MC12ELK) [copy past from the hack page] will work, but im also wondering if any other cradle works with the system. So, what im hoping for, is a compatible radio tuner remote, as well as any compatible charging station. Tanks so much, I think i will also post this msg in the trading post forum... that way any one with parts available can respond (here or there)
