Tried reinstalling the software using the sticky's method, but no luck! the device is recognized correctly by XP, even the removable drive is accessable! My only hope is the drag and drop software that is suppose to come out, anyone have any news on that?

I used Sonicstage 3.1, tried reinstalling 3 or 4 times now..even reverted back to 3.0 which originally came with the device. I will give your links a try and will let you know how it goes..thanks.

I recently purchased the NWE407, running the latest Windows XP w/ all patches incl. SP2. its very strange, the device seems to install fine and was recognize by the O/S but yet wen Sonicstage pops up there was no atrac device found! I'm kinda boggled as my laptop works fine w/o any hitches, while my system 3200+ Ahtlon, 1Gig DDR, 9600 PRO, 200GIG HD doesn't not work. Can anyone help? and also does anyone know when the Drag & Drop software is coming out for this device? Sony says May and we are are almost in the middle of May, yet nothing. Thanks In Advance.
