Thanks for the feedback. My system is fairly high spec with XP, Intel 4, large memory etc, so maybe the memory allocation is perhaps the answer. Can you tell me what i should be looking to change in my memory allocation and where i can find it on my PC? Much appreciated.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have upgraded from 2.3 to 3.1 and have been fairly impressed with the more clearer layout and design. I have noticed one problem though, 3.1 tends to hang for about 20 seconds every time i try and import a CD or change a titles properties. Has anybody else had this problem and does anybody know if is there something in settings that might improve the performance and eradicate these annoying pauses?
