Thank you for responding. What is the actual difference between Net-MD and Hi-md? What changes do I need to make to the way I record the voice information to be able to copy it to my computer? Is it something to so with the LP4 setting? Is there software out there to get it off my MiniDisk and into WAV? Using explorer I can't seem to see the MiniDisk as I could with an MP3! I need to get the sessions typed into Word so I'm wanting to convert it to WAV to use some transcribing software/equipment to achieve this. I would really appreciate some help on this, I'm lost in Sony space...

I have a MZ-NF810 connected by USB to my PC running Home XP. I can't transfer my LP4 voice recordings files to my PC because I get this error "Unable to transfer the following tracks to My Library because they are recorded by Net MD or another computer." I've just install Sonic 3.3. The trackes (1 minute long) are shown on the right pane but they won't transfer. What am I doing wrong, please help. I feel so dumb!
