Am new to minidisc recording, but have a lot of experiance with 24 track machine...I just bought this to record my band rehearsals live for stand in musicians that can't make rehearsals. My unit is a Walkman MZ-NF810. It did not have a manual, so I have been reading online for operational instructions. Here is my question. To simply record with a mic, do I only have to slide over the record button? (This assumes my mic levels are already set up.) When I do this I DO NOT get a red recording light on that button. Is there supposed to be one, or am I doing something wrong? How can I be sure it is in record mode? Also when done, do I simply press the stop button, or do I need to do something in addition to save the data.....thanks so much....Mike
