Hello, I have an NW-HD1 and pretty much every version of Sonicstage. All seem to have their own quirks but now I'm running SSCP 4.0 and I have a problem (which I also had in 3.x): Most of my music are mp3s, no copryright etc and varying encoding (vbr/cbr etc). I'm running Windows XP SP2 on an amd64 with 1GB RAM. This is a fresh install ( I had the same problems previously ). I can import my mp3s into sonicstage fine (although some crash SS so I convert them into WAVs). The problem occurs when I try to transfer tracks onto the HD1. It wil transfer a random amount (generally less than 10), it will then come up with two errors. The first one is 'transfers not allowed' This is for an mp3 that has just been converted to atrac. All other tracks after that on the transfer list get shown in 'unable to transfer' All these mp3s are being converted to atrac3+ 64kbit as they are copied over. It appears it will encode an mp3 then for some reason, can't copy it over to the HD1 and fails that. From then on, it decides it can't transfer any more tracks. If I retry, it will fail immediately. The only resolution is to restart SS, at which point the song it got stuck on will transfer straight away (it has already been encoded) and SS will transfer another random amount before erroring again. Because of this, it doesn't seem to be a problem with the mp3 encoding, as it will transfer second time around, but it's really annoying transferring hundreds of mp3s up to ten at a time. Anyone know the cause of this? If there is a way around it? I can't seem to find anything of use as tot he cause.
