Hi there, My solution to this problem is to press the RW/FF button on the edge and not in the center near the play button. Hope this can help, NKS

Anyone found anything about this problem?.. My RH10 is doing the exact same thing.. When I press volume up sometimes the Search screen appears.. First time i tought that I was pressing too hard on the button (so it could have pressed the search button at the same time, it happens to me when I fastforward a song holding the FF button too much on the center, it pushes PLAY at the same time). But this is not the cause of the problem.. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it dont and I can't really tell why. Thats weird and annoying and i wanna know if theres a solution/workaround for this. Haha yes exactly... First time ive covered all the buttons but now i just cut a L and leave the buttons uncovered. Like I said, it only prevents minor scratches, but so far it did the job for me before i find out a real solution .. Its better than nothing at all and its invisible when applied correctly.

Saran Wrap is a thin plastic film used for food conservation/microwave cooking.. http://www.saranbrands.com/ This is a north american brand but there must be a product similar to this in Ireland. (Try to get one that "sticks" well to food and plates..) Best Regards, NKS

Im still looking for the best solution to protect my rh10 but meanwhile i use saran wrap to protect it from the minor scratches.. Can't be cheaper than that and when you remove all the air bubbles its completely invisible. Today Ive just changed my saran sheet for the first time after 3 months. On the first one ive cut all the buttons (took me a while!) but now its shaped like an L so it took 4min to replace. Ive use saran wrap from day 1 and if possible i always use the pouch too but it happened some times that i had to put the recorder right in my pocket when recording concerts and I dont have one single scratch on it!
