Just read the email from kurisu and decided to post. Have been visiting this forum actively but not posting only. I just accquired a RH10 a few months ago from japan. Before that I was hesitating whether to get a ipod mini, iriver H10 or the RH10 hi md player. After going thru all the research and considering my needs, I chose the RH10. Any regrets? Well, there is no perfect thing in this world, especially electronic gadjets. The only let back for me is the crippled playback of mp3. I have tonnes of mp3 from my friends, and it took me sometime to convert all of them into high bitrate atrac format. About discontinuation of the md players, im against it. I'm a malaysian but currently studying overseas, in my country, there is only a very small population using md player. Everybody knows that the RH10 is manufactured only in malaysia but do u all know that we can't get it in local sony stores? That's seriously crap. I agree with the others, sony should do some promotion on md players. Then maybe ppl will start paying attention to it rather than getting the usual crappy mp3 players

u're welcome... but maybe u should try abbstrack's suggestion. Other wise, do send it back to the nearest sony service center. I think they would be able to do something.

@freud If i'm not mistaken, u can only get the orange RH10 thru audio cubes or either straight from japanese stores as the orange unit is only meant for the japansese market. Well, bluetin sells their products are quite a nice price. Do some searching around, or may i suggest your friend to visit Sin Lim square in Singapore. Im not sure about the exact location but i've heard from my friend that over there, they have good bargains. Hope it helps.

Is this clear blue hi md disc out in japan yet? My friend who is in japan can only find the normal black one. Anybody know where to get it?

@pepe Where are u based currently? I believe that it's possible for your friend to buy hi md players at Shen Lin Square. Im not very sure about how to go there, maybe u can also try out sony outlets in Singapore.
