  1. I just bought a Sony CDX-GT300 from Halfords for £149. I know I could have got it cheaper but I wanted to replace the Ford unit in my Focus before the local lowlife got their paws on it. There seems to be a part in the Ford units that can be used to get free SKY TV so they are a natural target to be ripped apart and sold on the black market. Anyway, it was fairly easy to fit. I heard horror stories of Sony car players requiring Sony speaker but not the case here. Sound quality is pretty good for the price I must say through the CD and the tuner is pretty cool too. The front AUX is well useful for docking my HD5 but to be honest, ATRAC CDs can contain upto 22 albums on ATRAC3 Plus so I doubt there'd be much call to do that, especially as it results a a wire dangling all over the place on the dashboard! The entire front panel comes off which makes the head unit pretty useless to nick but the one thing I hate about it is it's so feckin' fiddly to remove and replace! But overall it's a very good unit for its price.
  2. No, I'm afraid I didn't... I suspect my tracks are lost on my PC... at least they are still on my player.
  3. I didn't BUT I did get an error on SS3.1 a few weeks back that required SS to recover my library. I don't know what caused this. I get the feeling that these tracks are lost on my computer now I should demand a refund off Sony! Oh... and thank you for the welcome
  4. I have looked with google at a possible solution to this problem and cannot find one so I'll post here to see if anybody knows what might be up and if there's a solution. I tried to play a track on SS 3.4 and got the following error: Cannot Play this track Do you want to coonect to the internet and download the licence for the track? I hit yes and the following pops up: Cannot load the rights information for the selected tracks The file may not be supported by SonicStage (0000010d) Now here is the very odd bit... This ONLY affects anything I have downloaded from CONNECT!! Albums I have forked £7.99 TO SONY for!! They still play fine on the player though but I know they cannot be uploaded again because of Sony's Paranoiaware. My own CDs and (*ahem*) acquired downloads work perfecty well. Is there a large enough brain to provide an answer to this problem?
