I have MZ NH700 unit and i'm having problem recording cds to my mds. I'm used to pick a CD from my collection and then transfer the music onto the MD. But, some time ago, after i updated to the 2nd version of Simple Burner, i can't use my MD Burner. That is because when I want to specify the CD-drive in the config menu, MD Burner responds with "No Audio CD in Drive X:\" error. And, as a reslut, the software fails to load the CD. Has anyone ever encoutered this problem?

* MZ-NH700 + loads of 80min MDs * daily use: listening to music while traveling (standard portable audio player) * recording my vinyls onto it im HiSP/PCM in order to have a back-up copy and to be able to listen to it while travelling * professional use: recording lectures in the university, really useful thing for that. * alternatives? no. no MP3s, no HDDs.

I'm not going to listen to a shitty MP3s, I do enjoy ATRAC3. That's a real shame Sony has no plans for its dvelopment. Hard Drive players are not the thing I want. You are unable to feel the thing which i call "the album integrity" with those, they suit those, who listen only to a separate songs/singles.
