I can play from this disk, but i cannot delete any of the tracks on it. Also, to clarify, the issue happens after it says "system file writing" I would like to try this method as I have some recordings on there that i do not want to lose, but i am not sure i understand what you mean by this.

Hello! First, I'd like to thank this community for all of the valuable information that they have posted. I was lurking here a while back gathering knowledge and am now the proud owner of an nhf800 and a 907 mic which i've already been able to do some recording with. I've actually been very pleased with the results up until about yesterday. I was able to record easily from my turntables as well as taping a live DJ & electric guitar session and free drumming at a friend's party. and they sounded really good... yesterday and today I've encountered a problem. After pressing stop from recording, it flashes to DATA SAVE like normal and then it flashes REC ERROR and i've lost the whole set. This has happened from both the mic inputs and the line in inputs. AGC is on, and set to standard. It's been plugged in for both times. The volume average for the mic session was around the dot (0dB?) but for the line-in/turntable session it was close to the upper limit, though i didn't see it peek past the dot whenever i looked. i am trying to determine whether this is something that i am doing or *crosses fingers against* a hardware issue... any help would be greatly appreciated.
