Hi I have downloaded sonicstage the rubbish that it is version 3.1. It installed perfectly or so it seemed and then when i click on it to get it to start working it gives the error message Cannot locate needed files related to windows media format. Exiting sonicstage. What a heap of junk. Never got sonicstage to work and think buying the minidisc player was the biggest mistake ive made in a while. Most costly one anyway. Still cant use the thing after 3 months. Any ideas as to what can be done?

Hi I am having problems with installing sonicstage. Basically I have had every problem and am ready to throw my mindisc player in the bin. I then followed the instructions of uninstalling sonicstage and when I tried to reinstall it I got the error message Following Files did not self register or unregister C:\Program Files\common files\sony shared\openmg\dorayaki dlll Exception Occurred C:\Program Files\Common files/sony shared\openmg\ipacpmitemwrapper.dlll Exception Occurred And then I just choose to keep going with the installation and when I click on the sonicstage icon i get this Cannot find openmg secure module. Exiting Sonicstage. Anyone any ideas on how to rectify this as it really is annoying as I havent been able to use the hi-md function on my minidisc since I bought it which is a waste. Should have got an ipod. Thanks
