Writing from the South East Asian Country Called Maldives!! Me too, got RH-10 from Japan, via a friend's help. It was bought from biccamera.com . cant read japanese, so used the search box for RH10. SonicStage CD was japanese so i couldnt install it. I had problems though uploading to HiMD. SonicStage detects the disk when there is an MD inserted. But NOT a HiMD. May be it is due to the version of SonicStage. I downloaded 3.1 from the link given in this forum, it is the standalone version. Not the one updated via web. So as for the solution, I downloaded from web http: // www. sony.jp/products/overseas/contents/support/download/dl-ww_ss31-02.html It did fine, but I am still looking for a way to setup SonicStage on another pc, problem is that pc has no internet connection. (wish someone have an update 3.1) The player looks great. As for me, it being multipurpose is much much help. I have been a fan of MDs for 8 years. But do wish they'd have a better way of uploading to HiMD. Perhaps a much user friendly software, other then SonicStage. tux

I bought it from Japan. I do have SonicStage 3 but it is japanese so i cant install it. I am trying to find english version from a local Sony Shop here in Maldives. The model is MZ-RH10. I have changed the menu language to English now, it is working perfectly other than having problems with SonicStage 3.1 from which I cant copy to Hi-MD. Can copy to MD though. Probably none of you had such problems may be. I am trying to solve the problem somehow. tux

thanks, you know i did try that way. but problem is, when i insert a hi-md it sonicstage's Hi-MD feature is not there. Normal mini disks, they are recognized with no problems. tux

Good day to you all. I have been an MD fan for almost 8 years and I must say I like it more than the normal MP3 Players. Especially SONY. Now I have RH10 which look great. Bought from Japan, changed language, plays MD. All went fine except that when I install SonicStage 3.1, I dont see the Hi-MD option. But when I have a Mini Disk in it, it shows the disk. No HiMD recording via PC or what? Help me on this isssue,. Thanks in advance. Tux

Could anyone of you please direct me to any info, on how I could get started with uploading to HiMD. Just got an MZ-RH-10, installed SonicStage 3.1 but whenever I insert Hi-MD disk, my PC doesnt show the Device or the disk. But when I inserted an MD, it shows and can transfer files to the disk from PC. I have SonicStage 3.0 but since it is Japanese, I aint using it. So I have downloaded version 3.1.
