  1. Thanks guys. I got it working. Not only did I clean the contacts, which didn't look dirty, I also blasted some air through the open lid to get anything that might be causing a short off of the circuit. I also blasted a bit of air through all of the inputs just in case.
  2. Hey... Yea, I actually did know that... I've tried replacing them. That's not the problem.
  3. I've owned my MZ-NH700 for about a year and half now and it just doesn't seem to want to conserve its energy anymore. I'll charge it completely and have one battery bar on the screen missing after recording less that a minute of audio. I was using it to record quite a bit when i first got it but have just started trying to use it again and I'm having this problem. Any suggestions? If nothing can be done can somebody recommend something I can record with in stereo that will last longer than a year? Thanks Edit: Brand new Sony Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are drained as well.
  4. I like my Sony MDR-150's. Although I have a pretty large music collection I haven't had a lot of experience the more expensive models. Compared to all of the other headphones I've used in the past though I think they sound the best. Really warm, crisp and clear. $20 and well worth it in my opinion.
  5. Hello, I'm interested in binaural recordings and was wondering if anybody had any recorder recommendations. I'm not looking for the newest or prettiest, just a reliable, relatively cheap, recorder. I was hoping somebody could recommend a recorder that doesn't require a middle man for transferring music to and fro the PC, if such an MD recorder (with USB) exists. Sorry if the answer to this question is somewhere in the FAQ's, but I was also wondering if all HI-MD recorders are capable of recording in stereo.
