I am using XP home with sp2 and a P4 2.5 Gig CPU 1.5 gig memory I am Having the same problem but I only use SS to burn ATRAC CD's for my D-NF610 or my D-NE920. I do not want to have to have 2 databases of 5000 songs on my computer one MP3 and the other ATRAC. I need the SS for my VAIO pocket and other music players. I use NERO or my Musicmatch to burn everything else they still work fine. I had version 3.0 on my RZ-14G computer when Sonic Stage stopped burning CD's I upgraded to 3.4 but it did not help.

I love my Vaio Pocket. I have about 5000 songs on it. Most of them I had to translate the track data into english before I transfered it. I use a converted Smart phone case and carry it on my belt. The case has a clear plastic front so I can see the display and control it without taking it out of the case.
