Just installed the Kenwood unit today myself. Great unit!!! I'm really happy with it. About the ony annoyance is that it's hard to see the display in daylight. It's funny. I've had MD for a long time but never really fooled around with different recording settings. I think with Sonic Stage 3.0, I'll give it a try and see how much of a difference LP2 is over LP4. Thanks for the heads up. Long live the MD!!!!!!!!! Only wish more fellow Americans would see the beauty of it.

Hello everyone. Just got a good deal on a Kenwood KMD-44 on eBay for $91.00. I've been looking for a car deck MDLP player for a while. Is this a good deck? Still can't believe people in the U.S. never adopted the MD format like they should. I've had MD now since early 90s and love them. Still havn't got HD-MD. My MDLP disk hold enough for me at the moment. Nice forum.
