So...you will be holding the unit in your hand and not looking at the display? I'm not sure how that works, but at any rate, to do this without looking: Scroll the scroll bar.Press << onceScroll one click in either direction to get the previous or following group.Press the scroll bar to enter the group.Press it again. This should play the first track in the group.Memorize the movements and you're set.

Correct. I'm not going to admit how long I owned the thing before I stumbled upon that feature.

This is not true. Use the scroll wheel then press the rewind button. This gives you a page where you can scroll through the list of groups on the disc. Trust me.

I think we can all agree that this discussion could become totally pointless in a hurry. I propose a poll to measure th following: How many straight people did or did not enjoy this film? How many gay people did or did not enjoy this film? How many straight people think they might see it?How many gay people think they might see it?How many straight people refuse to see it?How many gay people refuse to see it?A little market research could provide some data to discuss instead of arguing about politics and morality.

I have been referring to this film as "Bareback Mountain" since the first time I saw the trailer. I've heard a lot of name calling (in real life, not on this board) from so-called left wing, open-minded people against those who do not wish to see two men cavorting as lovers. Avoiding this film is an excellent opportunity for people with opposing views to exercise their right to ignore and shut the hell up. However, not going to see this film does not make someone a homophobe or whatever loaded term gets thrown at people who don't expressly condone, shall we say, non-traditional sexual orientations. I wonder if a movie centering on an abusive and doomed gay relationship would be allowed in theatres. Liberals aren't more enlightened and open=minded. They just have different prejudices. Words like racist, homophobe and conservative are pejoratives used by leftists in an attempt to trivialize the opinions of dissenters. That being said, I will probably be seeing this film in the theatre. On a date. With a girl. And I will still refer to it as Bareback Mountain. And I will be voting NDP in the upcoming federal election here in Canada. Prediction: I bet this film is every bit as nauseating and retarded as just about every other sanguine, epic romance ever made.

For anyone living in Canada: London drugs often has sales on minidisc including Hi-MD blanks for $7.99(CAN). I only buy them when they're on sale and save myself at least 3 bucks a pop. Otherwise it's at least $10.99 if not more.

If there are no further planets to be found, my vote is: Planet X. Like being alive for the lamest, most over-hyped change of millenium in history, I hope I live to see it happen. If the are planets beyond the-as-yet-to-be-named-celestial-body, then we should keep with tradition and astrological continuity.

Absolutely. Update: I had misplaced my manual and was under the impression that the EQ settings were stored in disc memory along with bookmarks. Turns out the manual says settings for the Custom 1 and Custom 2 EQ's are stored along with bookmarks, so the answer to my initial question, I guess, would be: RTFM. Though I suppose this is good news to those of you with the european model as your skillful hacking has yielded an unexpected, if totally useless, side benefit. Thanks, and sorry to waste everyone's time.

The disc memory setting on my RH-10 is supposed to retain settings (EQ, etc.) for each disc up to a maximum of 64 different discs. I've checked it over and over again, and I have to change the EQ manually each time. I have Jazz on some discs and Metal on others. According to the manual, the unit should recognize the disc. It doesn't. Any other RH-10 owners having this problem? I saw someone mention a hack while browsing the forums earlier, but can't find the post. Btw, is this even the right place to post this?

Can anyone tell me for sure which remote, if any, will allow access to rec settings on the rh10? I'm considering investing in the mc40elk, but if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles I'll probably go for something cheaper. Thanks
