hi i was wanting to know something about the Pioneer MJ-D707 i know it cant record in lp2 and lp4 modes but can it play discs recorded say from another machine in lp2 and lp4 format?Thank you

I am a newbie to mini disc i was wondering is recording with the optical line in on my mini disc and optical out on my pc any better than using my usb cacle and the supplied software?Will the sound be any better?And also how does LP2 and LP4 compare to MP3's say in kbps as a comparsionI someone can help me out here .Thank you.
