I hope I put this in the right section I was wondering if anyone ever tried making a RF remote for their Mini disk or any other portable player. What would it take to do this? I have a basic understanding of electronics and would think it shouldn't be too hard to do. My thinking is that you would connect the remote receiver to the switches inside the wired remote that comes with the player or build a new circuit board like the one inside the wired remote with the RF receiver in place of the switches. I may be way off with my thinking, so if anyone knows any websites or has any information, then it would be appreciated. I would like the remote to be UHF FM RF so that is as reliable as possible.
