  1. Oops, sorry ! WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL, incl SP 2 INTEL PENTIUM 1,50 GH 480 MB RAM USB 2.0 SS 3.1
  2. I have done that, but the problems still exists : the right half of the TRANSFER screen is still not active when my NW-E405 is connected to my pc, so I cannot apply the steps to initialize as mentioned in the SS HELP. When I click the TRANSFER button, I can select the NW-E405 (which is recognized as ATRAC Audio Device (E) ), but when I try to click on it, an error message appears, telling me that "the connected ATRAC Audio Device must be initialized to be used with the currently installed SonicStage". Strange thing though is that I have the same problem when I install the SS 3.0 from the cd-rom that came with the NW-E405 !!!! My guess is that with the first installation of the SS 3.1, some file or patch stuck to my pc and is now preventing my NW-E405 to work ..... Any ideas how to make it work ????
  3. I forgot to mention : my pc is running on Windows XP Home Edition and SP 2 is installed. Anybody ???
  4. Last week I upgraded my SS 2.1 to the new 3.1 version, only to find out that once installed, my HiMD-recorder is still working, but my Network Walkman NW-E405 is not. I got the message that it needs to be initialized. I looked in the SSHelp, but once arrived at the TRANSFER screen, the right side of that screen is not active. So I deleted the SS 3.1 and installed SS 3.0, from the cd-rom that came with my NW-E405. But the same thing here : I need to get my NW-E405 initialized before I can use it, but cannot because I cannot follow the steps as explained in the SSHelp : the right side of the TRANSFER screen is still not active. When connected to my pc by USB, the SS recognizes my Network Walkman, it even shows how much storage space is left, but it is not working ! Can anybody help me out here please ???
