OK, well, No! The media don't bring out the violins for a good sob story! I am the artist that you've made that totally stupid comment about and I'm actually totally pssed off that you could even make an assumption like that! I'm glad my stuff was stolen! It was a total blessing. I was diagnosed as being very ill and yet was still booking gigs left right and centre. With no gear, I could focus on my health and getting myself back into what I really wanted to do - my own original music. The loss was more my lyrics book and not so much the minidisc player. I got my focus back. Am well on my way to a full recovery healthwise. I filmed a music video a few weeks after the incident in the very same area that the gear was taken from - Dulwich Village and surrounds - and this will be used for a promotional campaign in Indonesia and Arabia where I have prospective album licensing deals. So please! Spare me the violins bit! Survivors always land on their feet and they take off running! I wish you only the best. Should anybody find that minidisc! Bin it! I've written new songs and don't miss it! Big Hugs and Blue Skies to you all. I'm off to sing at the Rock in the Park in Stevenage this afternoon, so have better fish to fry. Life is for living, So Get On With It! Mel Vondrau.
