  1. Thank you very much Syrius! SonicStage does play Hi-MD content back through the PC. I am lucky. This also explains why it takes so long for SonicStage to transfer the PCM audio from Hi-MD to PC. I think it's scrambling the signals back to the disc during the transfer. See SONY. DRM's cracked with the help of your own SonicStage. Come on, drop DRM for analog recorded materials, at least. Now, I have to find Total Recorder and Audacity and learn how to use them. Many thanks.
  2. It's too late to rescue the computer file. I didn't remember it till it's many days over. If there were no hack, what is the best way to record the audio in analog with mininal lost of quality? Frankly, what's the point of the transfer-once protection. Once in PCM and WAVE, people can do anything they want and certainly make a CD first if they intend to "steal." This silly copy protection only hurt real users!!
  3. I think this is real shame. Apple's iPod can show Chinese characters and so does iTune. What's up with SONY!?
  4. Well, I recordered a live concert on Hi-MD. I transfered to the PC once but I accidentially deleted the file. I still have the Hi-MD but SonicStage doesn't allow me to transfer it again. I know I can still savalage it by recording it in analog but it's going to be difficult to me and lose some quality. I am wondering if there are programs that can hack the Hi-MD. For Christ's sake, it's my own live recording. Why should _I_ be disallowed to do whatever I want to MY own recording. Thanks.
