has anyone had any luck finding the pocket vaio cases for cheaper than sonystyle? I've been looking all over the net (some on ebay but they're too expensive). i'm just about to give up and pay full price for it...

oh i gotcha well that's good that it wasn't your player...for me, i don't htink it was my song that caused it to freeze...i just fast forwarded a song and it went kinda crazy and then it froze...it hasn't happened again when i played it. i don't know, just hope the player is fine.

woah 3 times the first day? how did you know it was due to a file corruption? restarting constantly won't damage the machine will it? hope it won't do it often..

I know this maybe a stupid question and that it should be straight forward, but can someone please tell me how they usually convert their mp3 files to a regular ATRACplus file. I don't want to convert ALL of my mp3s to ATRAC, just some but I'm really confused on how to do that. Thank you to whoever can help

I upgraded my SonicStage to 3.1 but I still find that it takes a while adding album art. It also takes a little while to transfer songs onto the pocket vaio, but i think i'm spoiled switching from itunes. Also, I don't know if it's just my program but when I try to convert an mp3 to an ATRACplus file...it freezes when the conversion window pops up and then it'll freeze my computer. Does anyone know what the problem is with this? I just want to try implementing the lyrics view and I hear that it'll only work with ATRAC files. Is there an easier way to convert? I think the pocket vaio itself is beautiful and am really happy with it, but it really is the SonicStage and the Music Move programs that kill it...so aggravating.

The price for the Vaio Pocket VGF-AP1 went down to $239 again...and I believe they got more as well (66 left)...SWEET DEAL!

omg i didn't know you can replace the batter yourself..and the batter being only $51.54?? Wow seriously thats so great, unlike apple's lack of battery replacements. I just hope these batteries don't become extinct or something by the time I get mine. Thanks so much Ishi..seriously you are such a great help! haha are you sure you don't work for sony? i'm just kidding...but i'm totally sold on it...$249-$299 for a 40 gig is a sweet deal...just want to touch it and see it first before i drop it like it's hot...going around the city today to check it out. thanks so much for your help ishi, I really really appreciate it! Oh and do you think SonyStyle will issue refunds if you just decide not to keep it (even though it may be working fine)? Does anyone know a place in the NY metro area where I can try out this player? I'd like to just try it out and see how it feels before I by it. I've tried the major electronic stores such as Best Buy and Circuit City but yeah they don't have it of course.
