i own a mac and even under virtualpc using sonicstage, this thing is useless to me. i found some good ideas elsewhere but id like to thank everyone anyways... anyone in canada want 5 color mds and 1 hi-md disc for free?

hello fellow minidisc users. to break it i was thinking of messing it up in service mode, however im not sure if it would show up when they test it. whatever makes it looks like normal wear and tear would be great thx

thanks for your guys input, i appreciate it. another REALLY GOOD prog for mac is audio hijack which allows you to capture audio from any source. this is excellent for getting recordings and music back onto your pc without using sonic stage. i think im gonna exchange my 600 for an ipod mini (service plan) and sell the mini on ebay then buy a 910. thanks again

it will be used for recording and playback. again, what type of increases will i see in transfer speed. i guess i should of mentioned this i am a mac user running vpc.

i recently did a move on a large amount of audio samples and recordings to another computer (NH600), using a blank himd disc and ss2. few questions what is the speed difference between ss2 and ss3.x? ie: time difference in moving or copying the contents of an entire himd disc. are 2nd gen himd recorders faster for transfering files(faster than my NH600Z)? ie: data transfer I'm at the point where im debating between upgrading to either the new 910 md recorder because of the the line in / digital connections but also good battery life and sleek design. the other choice is an ipod mini but then i'd lose the line in / digi connection. thats how im torn now. i currently have media on 5mds and 2 himds and i am satisfied with the product overall. however, i feel my nh600 is somewhat poor quality - i guess you get what you paid for. would there be a noticeable increase in build and sound QUALITY from a NH600 to the new 910? thanks
