  1. very instructive ideas. thank you! looks like I will do both... off to RS today and will try the himd-renderer solution as well. i notice when i convert to wav with ss that I lose a lot of quality. (or just can hear better on the computer, but I doubt that...) any ideas what that would be happening?
  2. How long does it take to charge in the RH-10? I looked all over the doco that came with in and was never able to see the answer to that question. (of course, quite possible that I missed it...) Oh, well. For $25 still seems like a decent option. If somebody finds another option, please post...
  3. Does that mean that the one copy restriction is avoided? I too have a fundemental issue with restricting content that I record. I understand the licensing and protection of someone else's content, but why make MD more restrictive than other recordings? If someone could explain the workflow on a Sony HDMD I would appreciate it...
  4. http://www.planetminidisc.com/rc103252.html here is what seems to be a great little charger.
  5. Thanks guys... Both the hardware and software solutions look feasible. Will buy the connector and report back...
  6. Perhaps this is a very simple question, or not... I have a Sony RH-10 and bought a simple telephone adapter that sits between the headset and phone and provides a mono mic output. Works fine except... Sony records the mono imput on one channel. I would like to have it on both. Is this just a mini adapter mono2stereo? Could not find one at Fry's, but have not been to Radio Shack yet. Or is there a software solution with Sonicstage or other program? And btw, editing software ideas? Or is that best done in the RH10? Thanks in advance...
