I'm new to MD and new to the forum. For a while now I have been doubting whether I should buy a HI-MD, specifically the nh900. One of my primary concerns is the transfer speed from the minidisc to the PC through the USB port because I want to use MD also for data transfer between computers. I have read somewhere that it is 9.83Mbps. I would like someone to confirm this and in terms of Megabytes, what would this be? 1,22875 Megabytes per second? or 14 minutes approximately to copy an entire minidisc from or to the pc? Could someone please tell me if what I am saying is correct? Can I drag and drop data from and to the minidisc as if it were a removable drive? Other questions I have: can I use a minidisc to jog? In terms of durability, the moving parts wouldn't wear off very rapidly? Would it skip often? Atrac3plus at 256kb is equivalent to Mp3 at 320 kbps? And finally, it's been very hard to find a nh900 lately... if someone knows where... I wouldn't like to buy a rh910 or rh10 because of the lack of line out and the "scratchability" of those machines. Finally, is there any way to receive radio on a nh900? Thanks a lot to everyone, alereborn
