Thanks Guys for all your responses, I went in to my local town yesterday and brought a microphne from my local music shop. I Tried it out before i left the shop and it sounded great. If your interested here is the spec of it, i paid £35 for it after i got him to reduce it for me in the sale. lol woooo Mic Spec Thanks and im sure ill have many more questions to ask p.s. i also picked up a mic stand secondhand but in new condition for £8

Hi every one, this is my second post after i recived my shiney new Sony MZ-NH1. I love it but want a small mic that i can use with it to record live sound from guitars, bass, vocals etc. In pubs and also in quiets rooms. i have seen these on ebay uk Rays Mics and wonderd if they are any good? or does anyone else have any suggestions for a good quality but low cos mic. Hi everyone, Im new to the forum and have been reading some of your posts. I need help on which player to get for recording live sound. I am goin to college in september to study music technology and would like a player to record on. Im am unsure of the differences between them. I have been looking at the Sony MZ-NH1 on amazon uk for £110 (delivered) this is about the most i can afford. Is this a good player to choose for recording live sound. (guitars, vocals, bass etc) or do you have any other suggestions? Your help is much appreiciated Thanks in advance
