Hi, I had the same problem, but managed to solve it yesterday... The installer kept on failing, so I went looking on my machine for recently changed files, and found some txt files in my temp directory (C:\Documents and setting\username\local settings\temp) that came from the MSI installer with OMGSETUP... On top of those files was the following message : Error 1931.The Windows Installer service cannot update the system file C:\WINDOWS\System32\msvcp60.dll because the file is protected by Windows. You may need to update your operating system for this program to work correctly. Package version: 6.0.8972.0, OS Protected version: 6.0.8168.0 I couldn't delete that msvcp60.dll since apparently some program had it in use, so I started killing some processes untill I could move that file to my desktop. Once I moved that file to my desktop, so it was no longer in system32, I ran the installer again, and it worked... Hope it helps you... Nick
