  1. sorry, i have no windows xp. i have to use sonicstage in a vmware virtual machine. in this workstation windows 2000 tells me that i have a NECVMWwar VMWare IDE CDR10. and I can access every CD. now i installed ForceASPI v1.7 to have a aspi driver. but this does not solve the problem! why i need a cdrom-drive for sonicstage? all what i want is uploading my mp3 to the NW-E-103!
  2. thank you for this hint. I never installed any Sony software. so i do not have to clean any previous installations. but i checked, if there are any directories, files or registry entries mentioned in the FAQ. I do not have. I have windows 2000 pro with service pack 4 on a vmware workstation 5.0. in this vmware i can access the NW-E103 as a memory stick. this means: i can copy files on it. I have a AMD Athlon 2800+, for wmware 256 MB RAM. USB 2.0. no USB devices during the installation process. i disabled my mcaffee 7.0 antivirus software. vmware-tools were still running. i don't want stop them for performance reason. I unplugged NW-E-103 and made a net-installation of SonicStage 3.2. i rebooted my workstation. then i installed simple burner 2.0.04.18080. then i started sonicstage and got the error message: "Cannot initialize OpenMG CD Manager". can anybody help me? or is there an other way to copy my mp3 on nw-e103, so that i can listen them there? thank you for any hint and help in advance!
  3. what I have done, which is not correct?
  4. i installed version 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 on windows 2000 in a vmware-machine, which was never touched by a previous version of sonicstage. so no uninstall is needed. i have the same problem with all version i mentioned above: when i want to start the program i get this error message "Cannot initialize OpenMG CD Manager" and i am forced to shut down the program. any hints how to solve this problem?
