I just tried copying the whole cd to my minidisc using HiMd, NetMd.It works fine. I need to try with some other songs and see if it is a problem.

I have this peculiar problem in Sonic Stage. When I try to transfer song to my HiMD disc - it displays error "Transfer not allowed". Bit of information - I am using MAC OS X. I have created Windows XP partition using Boot Camp. I thought the Sonc Stage should work under Windows. But it look like it is not. I would like to know what is the reason of giving error message "TRANSFER NOT ALLOWED". Thanks

CIRQUE- That is correct the player model is MZ-N707 Can you still play other discs? CIRQUE- Yes I can play disc which are recorded long time back Do you get a blank disc message right after you record or do you just get silence with the play time counter moving? CIRQUE - After recording I see counter moving. The disc shows number of songs transferred. No Error message though.

Hi I am a new member in this group. I have bought a minidisc player NZ707 approximately 2 years back. Last couple of days I found out that the songs i have downloaded using OpenMg won't play in my minidisc unit. An example being - When I dowload the song in LP format or Stero format the player just does not play the song. Is it a problem with lens or with the disc I am using. I tried couple of old ones same result. This is my second minidisc unit in span of 4 years. Is it the way I use or Sony is just giving us a dodgy unit. Thanks
