  1. MZ-M200 has been sold. The discs are still available.
  2. I have an MZ-M200 in great condition. No box, but includes all the original accessories I believe except for the blank disc. I've listed it on eBay ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/200955900830 ) but if anyone in the US wants to buy it directly from me I'll let it go for $515 shipped. I also have 5 used 1 GB discs. Asking $20 each for those. Email me if interested -- jfaninord@hotmail.com
  3. Selling some miscellaneous MD cases -- make an offer for one or all! Buyer will have to pay the actual shipping cost too. Will accept paypal and ship anywhere. Located in the US. Each end is engraved with "SONY MiniDisc" logo Caselogic carrying case Can hold 24 minidiscs (without cases) There are a few stains (coffee perhaps?) on the back. Tapex carrying case Can hold 12 minidiscs (without cases). Left this out once and one of my cats bit the back of it several times, there are a couple dozen small holes poked into the back.
  4. If anyone here records concerts... I'm looking for anyone with master minidisc recordings from the following artists that are either uncirculated or haven't yet been digitally transferred from the master disc. Our Lady Peace Damien Rice Radiohead Pedestrian Nine Inch Nails Silverchair Muse If you have recorded one of these bands and haven't transferred the recording (or have only transferred via analog) perhaps I can give your discs the digital transfer treatment with my MZ-M200.
  5. Update: 3 are gone pending payment, 5 discs still available. Lowball offers are welcome! I have 8 commercial albums released on minidisc that I picked up in an auction with some other items years ago. If interested please PM me an offer. You will have to pay the shipping cost in addition to the amount offered (shipping from USA). I'm open to selling these in a lot or individually. If you want a single disc instead of the whole lot let me know which one(s) you want and what your offer is. I will try to accommodate as many people as possible. Here's a list of the discs. They all have a sticker with the album art on the front, tracklist on the back, and catalogue number / artist / album name on top, and have non-matching generic minidisc cases (presumably these were originally sold with some kind of packaging or booklets, but they weren't included when I got them). Still available: Indigo Girls - Rites Of Passage Marc Cohn - Marc Cohn Ottmar Liebert + Luna Negra - Solo Para Ti Sinead O'Connor - I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got Tony Bennett - Unplugged Gone pending payment: Midnight Oil - Earth and Sun and Moon Sponge - Rotting Pinata Tears for Fears - Raoul and the Kings of Spain
  6. I recorded a Bruce Hornsby performance last night with a Sony MZ-R909 and two old Maxell gold 74 minute discs in SP mode. I am having problems playing back both discs, both on my MZ-R909 and my MDS-JB940. About 12 minutes in on either disc, playback stops (although according to the display, the minidisc is still playing . . . but the timer stops moving). On the second disc, which was nearer to being full, if I try skipping ahead to the last track, it resumes playback where the last track begins, but trying to skip to any of the tracks in between it just sits there. I can also seek back from the last track maybe 10 or 20 minutes (the track before it was very long). I suppose this might be a TOC problem, but when I put the disc in my recorder it does know the correct number of tracks/time remaining on the disc so I'm not sure. I guess the other possibilities are a problem with the media or a problem with my recorder. I used it a week ago and it worked fine then, I suppose I will put another disc in today and just record for a while to see what happens. Has anyone encountered this problem before and know what may have caused it or if the recordings can be recovered?
