Older one: MZ-N420D Newer one: MZ-NE410

I tried the other ports. So I guess it's broken. Man that sucks... Okay question. I have an old one that broke a few years ago and the Reading head broke now can I take that out an stick it in the newer one.

Okay, My minidisc player can play discs normal. But If I try to put on something new onto it, It will transfer the Name of it, but not the song itself? Is it broken or just a small thing I'm screwing up. I don't think it's broken cause it reads old discs fine. Please help.
